La Via del Colle – Beekeper for one day and products tasting

Experience description

In total comfort and complete protection (thanks to the full beekeeping suit we will be dressed in) we will get into the bee house, looking for the Queen and her worker and storekeeper helpers.

We will be able to get an up-close look at the world of this animal essential for the earth’s survival and discover how much painstaking work goes into each of their days.

We set off from the hotel in our Minibus and we will arrive at the La Via del Colle farm in the Bertinoro hills in about 35 minutes. The view from up there will be breathtaking! Francesco will guide us during this experience and explain everything about the bee world in great detail, and if we are lucky we will also be able to participate to the honey extraction process with tasty samples.

Before leaving, we will visit their shop with the delicious products from their agricultural Bakery and meet Chiara, Francesco’s sister who looks after the bakery, and Oriana, their mother, who will tell us the history of their company with great passion.
